The next steps are seen as:
- Produce a Report on the Workshop to further communicate with stakeholders and to promote discussion and stimulate ideas for improving pathology practices for consumers, requestors and providers; and
- Continue to develop strategies to address workforce shortages in pathology and reconvene- a group for that purpose in March 2009.
