In accordance with the Australian Government Charging Framework, the Department of Health and Aged Care has reviewed its Cost Recovery Implementation Statement (CRIS) for the pharmacy approvals process. Based on the outcome of the review, there are no changes to current application fees.

The fee for applications assessed by the Australian Community Pharmacy Authority is $1,600.

The fee for applications assessed by the Department of Health and Aged Care is $600.
