In accordance with the Australian Government Charging Framework, the Department of Health and Aged Care has reviewed its Cost Recovery Implementation Statement (CRIS) for the pharmacy approvals process.

Based on the outcome of the review, the fee for applications assessed by the department will be $555.

The fee for applications assessed by the Australian Community Pharmacy Authority will remain at $1,600.

The revised fees have received Ministerial approval and will come into effect from 1 July 2024.
