The Requirements for Medical Testing of Human Nucleic Acids sets out the standards that apply to medical tests for heritable and non-heritable variants in human nucleic acids. These tests involve the detection, characterisation and quantification of these nucleic acids.
This document must be read in conjunction with the Tier 2 document - Requirements for Medical Pathology Services.
This document has a date of effect of 1 December 2013.
