• The general trend was an overall increase in the number of diagnostic tests conducted for each age group over time. For those less than 1 year of age total test ranged from a low of 94 in 2007 to a peak of around 1000 in 2099 and 2011. The highest percentage of tests were by PCR PCR and increased over time from 91.4% in 2006 to 99.7% in 2012. However, this was the highest percentage of all age groups and testing by PCR decreased with age. In contrast serology test decreased from 6 in 2006 to 2 in 2012, but increased by age in older age groups.in other age groups. Testing by culture is almost imperceptible with two exceptions one of which was in those less than 1 year of age with rise between 2008 to 2010 peaking at 21 tests in 2009.
