Figure 4 shows notified cases of tuberculosis in Australia reported annually for the period 2002 to 2013, presented by population subgroups. This graph shows that the rate of TB in Australian-born non-Indigenous people has remained relatively stable since 2002, while the rate in Australian-born Indigenous peoples has ranged from 3.1 to 6.3 cases per 100,000 population over this period. The rate of TB in overseas-born people in 2011 remains higher than the other population subgroups at 19.5 per 100,000 in 2012 and 18.4 per 100,000 in 2013.
